Privacy
Your GPX file never leaves your phone. RoutePark reads it in the browser, finds it among the hikes.guide routes and throws it away. It is not uploaded, stored or seen by anyone.
What stays on your phone
The parking list, and any walk you choose to keep, are saved in your browser's storage on your phone so they open without signal. Nothing about them is sent anywhere. Remove a kept walk in the app, or clear the site's data in your browser, and it is gone.
What we count
RoutePark itself runs on hikes.guide, which counts visits with Plausible: no cookies, no personal data, nothing that follows you between sites. Inside the app it also counts two things: which of our routes a file matched (or that it matched none), when a walk is kept, and when someone tries one of the samples. Never the file, and never your line.
This site
routepark.app sets no cookies, and its fonts are served from this site. It counts its own visits with Plausible in the same way: no cookies, no personal data, nothing that follows you between sites. Its links to the app carry a tag saying they came from here, so hikes.guide can count them too.
Reporting a problem
The "Report a problem" link opens a Google form, the same one hikes.guide uses. What you type there goes to hikes.guide through Google; leave out anything you would not want to send. It is optional, and nothing is sent unless you fill it in.
Each place to park also has a "Something changed here?" link. It opens your own email app with a message to parking@hikes.guide already started: the name and map position of that place, the walk, the date of the parking list and the app's version, so we know which place you mean. You write the rest. Nothing is sent unless you send it, and if you do, we see your email address as with any email; we use it only to reply about that place.
