Terms of use

RoutePark is part of hikes.guide, and hikes.guide’s terms apply to it. On top of them, in plain words:

It is a beta

RoutePark has not been fully tested yet. Some of it will be wrong, and some of it will break. Tell us when it does.

It lists what exists, not what is free

RoutePark names places to park near a walk. It never knows whether a place has spaces today, is open, or is right for your car, and it does not say that anywhere is safe or allowed to park at on the day.

The signs on the ground come first

Follow the signs, road markings and parking restrictions where you park, and the Highway Code. Do not block gates, field entrances or passing places. Any parking charge, fine or ticket is the driver’s to pay.

Check before you rely on it

Where a place joins the walk, and how far that is, is measured along mapped paths and can be wrong. RoutePark is not a map to navigate the hills with. Bus times come from published timetables: check with the operator before you rely on a bus.

Free, and liable to change

RoutePark is free to use and needs no account. We may change it, or these terms, at any time, and we may withdraw it. The date below says when these terms last changed.
